Our Cavaliers did a pretty great job at the Ross County Elks Hoop Shoot Contest!
For the 10-11 boys division, Joshua Strong took 1st place! Addison Blevins took 2nd place for the 10-11 girls division. Cameron Jones and Lily Bryant both took 2nd place for the 8-9 boys and girls divisions, respectively.

Coming Soon! The Holiday Shop at CIS will be open the week of December 2nd -December 6th. Students will be able to visit the shop during their scheduled SEL special with Mrs. Keller. Look for a flyer and money envelope to be sent home for students to plan their purchases and budget. Items will range in price from $1-$20.

Student Council invites students to the 4th Grade Skating Party on Wednesday, November 20 at 4:30-6:30pm; and the 3rd & 4th Grade Candy Cane Lane Dance on Friday December 6th from 5:00-6:30pm at CIS.
We had a lovely assembly yesterday to honor all of those who have served! Students shared thoughts and poems, held a moment of silence, and sang songs to honor our veterans and celebrate their service to our country.
Chillicothe Intermediate School would like to thank the Veterans in our community for their service to our country. We will be celebrating our veterans tomorrow at 9:00am; parents and guests can arrive at 8:30am for pastries and coffee before the assembly. Happy Veterans Day!

We want to thank Cherie and Brad Catron on their visit to CIS on Monday morning. Our 3rd grade students got to learn about the educational system in Kenya and the differences between our schools. Cherie and Brad are selfless educators who empower the women of Kenya to construct their schools and teach with limited supplies. I've enclosed some pics of this very important assembly!
