We want to thank the Atomic Credit Union for working with our students with making an account and deposits. The kids are very close to accomplishing their deposit goal. They only need 22 more deposits to earn the "Money Machine"! Any students that have participated have an opportunity to enter the "Money Machine"! Thanks for all of your support!!
Attention all 6th grade students and parents!
You are cordially invited to attend a 7th Grade l Scheduling Information Meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the CMS/CHS Cafeteria.
During this meeting, we will review the scheduling process for next school year, discuss course options, and provide an overview of what to expect in 7th grade. There will also be time for questions to ensure you and your student feel prepared for this transition.

Reminder: The Class of 2027 is hosting a Sweetheart Dance for all parents or guardians and their students in grade K-6 on April 5 in the CHS Cafeteria. Instead of having a Daddy Daughter Dance, they want to be more inclusive and invite all CPS and CIS students to bring an adult. DJ Hazel will be spinning tunes, CAVS Media will have a photo area, CHS Band Boosters will have refreshments for purchase, and there will be a game/craft area for everyone to enjoy.
We are hosting another Cavalier Coffee Hour this month! Please join us in Annex Room D at Chillicothe Main Public Library on April 15th, 2025, at 9:30AM. We will be providing coffee and pastries. This Coffee Hour is a great opportunity for parents/guardians who may be considering a change for their student of any age, and are interested in what Chillicothe City School District has to offer. You'll get to sit down with our superintendent and curriculum director to ask any questions you've had about our district. If you have friends who are not yet Cavaliers, be sure to share this with them.
The Sweetheart Dance is April 5th from 6-8.
We had a wonderful board meeting yesterday at Chillicothe Intermediate School! We honored our Spelling Bee Winners, our exemplary Science Fair projects, and our three Battelle Showcase teams!
These students never cease to amaze us!
